It's like deja vu all over again.

Yes, these are the some of the immortal words of Yogi Berra but they could be used to describe this week's column in (the) My Catholic Standard by Archbishop Wuerl.

This column in a sense starts that way by once again attempting attempting to explain his views on why he cannot refuse Holy Communion to pro-abortion politicians.

Unfortunately, he only seems to be digging himself deeper into a hole with this. Why? Because he only confirms his stance that only the local bishop of the politician can refuse him communion.

As mentioned in my blog last week, this will open up a can of worms, and the various Catholic commentators and bloggers are talking about this all over the place.

What also makes this different is that this is the first time I have ever seen him state the issue of the local bishop. In all of his previous statements (at least that I have heard), this was never mentioned.

I am once again disappointed in Archbishop Wuerl.

"Archbishop" Donald Wuerl here in Washington DC is intimidated by politicians. He will never be a myrter and stand by his faith. He is a coward and will give into the enemy. He is quiet as a mouse when it comes time to defending the Pope with all the bad press Pope Benedict is getting in the Washington Post. Where is the voice of Archbishop 'ZERO TOLERANCE' the 'Educatator', Donald W. Wuerl? He's good at pouncing on [people who give him a bad rap or who he feels threatened by but will not defend Pope Benedict XVI, his personal 'friend'.

Is there a way to have Wuerl removed as archbishop of Washington DC? We need a strong Catholic archbishop in Washington, DC, who is truly Catholic both in Word and Deed. He came out like a Hero with Zero Tolerance, never giving some of his priests even the right to a Court of Law when accused and simply, pais off settlements. He was covering up for his own homosexuality. In St. Paul's Seminary in Crafton, PA Wuerl was known as Donna. The seminarians would say, "You couldn't make it at St. Paul's Sem. unless you had a twrill with Wuerl." Wuerl was protecting three priests, while he went after one priest, who tried to defend his innocence. Wuerl was affraid that everything would be disclosed about himself if the priest went to court. I have no idea if this particular priest is Roman Catholic after what Wuerl put him through and I don't blame him if he left the Catholic Church. Wuerl is a liar and so is his Pittsburgh Press religious writer Ann Rodgers (Melenick), who sounded like she was in Love with Wuerl. Yes, Wuerl had the power and money. He had the corrupt polititians in Pittsburgh to back him up and the Pittsburgh Post Gazette that always wrote favorable about Wuerl. The Diocese bailed out the newspaper when it was going under, so Wuerl like Adolf Hitler was greatly protected. By the way, the saintly, Fr. John A. Hardon S.J said that Wuerl plagerised his catechism, The Teachings of the Church, but that one day the truth would come out. Wuerl might have been one of the editors, but he had absolutely no right whatsoever to publish the catechism in his name. Let us be correct about this. Father Hardon was the chief author of putting this catechism together.Archbishop Raymond Burke certainly knows about the truth concerning the Teachings of the Church catechism. Let's please get to the bottom of the truth and dismiss all deviant and untruthful bishops, who think that they are above justice and the law and can get away with anything just because they have a lot of money and influential friends. If they are supposed to be Christ-like, who was thuth, compassionate, merciful and just then I don't think that anyone would want to be a Christian let alone join the Roman Catholic Church.

Bishop Wuerl of Pittsburgh Diocese had a lot to hide. The general saying was from seminarians who left the seminary in Pittsburgh was that a seminarian couldn't make it unless they had a "Twirl with Wuerl". Wuerl personal secretary was charged and convicted of molestatation. Wuerl was going after Fr. Cipolla while he was covering up for 3 priests in the diocese one who was his own personal secretary.
