Personally, I believe that there is much more to this story. But on the surface, I support Fr. Marcel Guarnizo.
Please offer him up your prayers and that of Fr. LaHood. They must be getting all sorts of terrible emails and phone calls.
I hope that Cardinal Wuerl and the Archdiocese supports him and does not cave in.

I agree. I hope that he will be congratulated for his courage, not punished for it.
I am a parishioner to the church... it is horrible the emails, the telephone calls, it is truly torment and there is more to the story that Fr told me not to talk about b/c of too much publicity
0same guy.) well the ardhdiase did cave in on him and is not getting his back b/c they are afraid (wimps) too bad...
I was flabbergasted to hear from the archdiocese that it is not Catholic "policy" to deny a person clearly not in a state of grace communion. The Church needs to grow a backbone in America and put a stop to public scandal of such persons as Nancy Pelosi et al receiving in defiance of Catholic doctrine. Fr Guarnizo should be supported and encouraged, not made a fool of by a weak bishop folding before gay activism.

The church should release audio of these calls. I wonder how many death treas the good Fr has received.
