His Excellency, Robert Morlino, is a native of Pennsylvania. He entered the seminary for the Maryland Society for the Province of Jesus. He was ordained to the priesthood on June 1, 1974. Bishop Morlino subsequently went on to obtain several prestigious and advanced degrees, including a Doctorate of Moral Theology from the Gregorian University in Rome.
