MCC Joins Forces with Radical Pro-Abortion, Pro-ObamaCare & Anti-Catholic School Groups

The Maryland Catholic Conference (MCC) and our bishops do not seem to get the fact that they are on the wrong side of the illegal immigration issue.

It seems that they are so desperate to do whatever they can to support those who are here illegally, that they have joined forces with pro-abortion, pro-homosexual and pro-obamacare groups.

They have done so via a group called:  Educating Maryland Kids.

So, on the one hand, they urge all of us support true marriage, stop Obamacare because of the attack on our first amendment rights and that we should stop abortion.

Yet, they are in an alliance with them.

So, let's take a look at some of the groups the MCC has associated themselves with:

  • United Church of Christ (UCC): Pro-gay Marriage; Pro-Obama Care
  •  Progressive Maryland: Pro-gay marriage; pro-abortion; pro-obama care
  • Public Justice Center: pro-gay marriage
  • SEIU: pro-abortion; pro-gay marriage; pro-obama care
  • Maryland State Education Assn:  Remember the lies they were telling about tax breaks for businesses

Let the MCC know that you do not appreciate their stance on this issue and their joining forces with those who oppose our core beliefs!

You missed a few nefarious characters: Maryland Industrial Areas Foundation Affiliates (IAF): Action in Montgomery (AIM), Baltimoreans United in Leadership Development (BUILD), and People Acting Together in Howard (PATH). In other words, all the Alinskyite "community organizers". Good work though in sniffing this out.

Just because groups are wrong on some issues does not mean they are wrong on all issues...

You say the MCC is against gay marriage (just like the archdiocese), but at my parish the pastor sermonized again yesterday that we must reach out to people with sexual orientations that are different than ours. He did not mention that it is our duty to protect the institution of marriage or the sacrament of matrimony; nor did he state when his parish would be offering opportunity for parishioners to sign petition to put legalizing same sex marriage on ballot (although the bishops told the petition alliance that ALL Catholic churches were supposed to have a sign up and to report any that refused--usual shell game of responsibility). Pastor also stated that good shepherds were smelly and dirty--from associating with sheep who are stupid, dirty animals (Jesus, on the other hand, said, "Good shepherds lay down their life for their sheep" and the rest are smelly, dirty, devil-serving wolves). Meanwhile I heard that one Catholic church in PG county stopped collecting signatures after they reached 196 signatures even though they had not covered all masses, because they were directed to only collect 150 signatures. Another Catholic church had turned in 192 signatures. [Did report one CC where women were each pledging to collect sigs through sodality (approx 1000)].

To Anon at 9:06AM:

Would you be willing to share the name of your pastor and the parish?

How about the names of the other parishes?
