Now, one thing I can say is at least in this instance NPR allowed Bishop Leonard Blair of Toledo, Ohio to respond to the interview w/ LCWR's Sr. Pat.
The only problem I had, was that the NPR person, simply would not stay on the subject.
Why? Because he, in a very calm voice and with a great deal of reasoning, decimated Sr. Pat's answers.

I heard that interview too, but I still find Sr Pat the more convincing The bishops don't realize that they have lost all credibility LCWR has had to take on extra staff to handle the letters and donations at the same time that fewer and fewer people listen to the bishops I have been a daily communicant for over 50 years and I am with the nuns
you know, I am with the nuns too. I am an old fashioned "St Louis Catholic and German" and haven't missed daily Mass in sixty-five years, and I wish the nuns still wore their habits but these bishops are a disgrace--Cardinal Law in particular. He should be in jail for what he did in Boston! I have my faith because of the nuns and in spite of the bishops
