+Gregory: A Rumor?

There is a rumor spreading around TWITTER that +Gregory will be tapped to replace +Wuerl, to be part of the group to help select new cardinals.   In part, this would be due to his race.

Now, this would be a mistake for two reasons:  (1) we do not need to put people in positions due to race, we need to put them in because of competency; (2) he is a Bernadin/McCarrick protege.

BTW, +Wuerl is 80 and therefore must step down from the committee, which helps identify cardinals.

The McCarrick Report and Cardinal Wuerl

I have been reading the McCarrick Report and you can tell that there is a good deal of whitewashing going on.  Why?

For one thing, and I have to give credit to George Neumayr, that the report allowed for Wuerl to once again claim that he knew nothing about McCarrick.  This is a lie.

More on the report later.

Catholic Standard (Dec. 19th Edition)

I was shocked to see that there was a Dec. 19th issue of the Catholic Standard, when the last one was on the 12th.

Must be working hard to hide the:

  • Msgr Rossi Investigation.  It is over 4 months since it was announced by the Diocese of Scranton and still no announcement by the Archdiocese of Washington.
  • No announcement about the stabbing at the National Shrine.  Even though it seemed to be a domestic dispute, and another fallout from the poor hiring practices at the Shrine, still no word.

We have seem to have a lot of stories recently promoting +Francis, +Gregory and Catholic Charities.

The new Catholic Standard almost reminds me of the Pravda days.

Catholic Standard Update for Nov. 28th

Well, let's start off with the obvious: There is no mention of the Msgr. Rossi investigation at the National Shrine.  He continues just as he has done for years and +Gregory is just enabling it.  Even the advertisement regarding Mass times has Rossi's name still on it.  The Archdiocese has no shame.

Let's take a look at some of the other stories in the Catholic Standard:

  • 125th Anniversary of St. Cyprian
  • There is a page and a half article on the Francis Factor with +Gregory, as part of a panel discussion.  One of the panelists is John Carr.  You may remember his, as being part of the USCCB, where he was responsible for shaping the political message.  He was a leftist, and still is.  From the USCCB he went to Harvard and is now at left leaning Georgetown.  You can read the nonsense from +Gregory and Carr there.  However, you probably should save your time.
  • A short article about the Pope's visit to Japan and nukes.
  • An article on retired sisters.
  • A Capuchine priest sentenced to 15 years for child sex abuse in August.  He served at the Shrine from 2014 to 2018.  Wonders if Msgr. Rossi knew anything about this?
  • Full page article on St. Cyprian and diversity
  • Article on St. Martin's in Gaithersburg and diversity
  • Article on one of the Sisters of Mercy.
  • Interfaith Council of Washington.  Again, taking the que from +Francis, we seem to have more and  more about the feel good interfaith meetings, etc.
  • Victory Housing marks 40 years.
  • Leo Nester's death.

Msgr. Pope and the Pachamama

Msgr. Pope once again hits it on the head in regards to +Francis and the Pachamama.

I worry about him because at some point +Gregory will probably come down hard on him.

Watch it here and thank you LIFESITE NEWS.

Happy (Belated) Anniversary to Myself!

Yes folks, it has been just over 12 years ago that I began this blog.  The years have passed faster than I would have ever thought.

I had hoped that the corruption in this Archdiocese would be no more, and that I would be able to shut this down.   But, it is not to be.

Today, with social media, the corruption of our prelates can no longer be hidden.  It eventually gets out.

The problem is that even when they are confronted by it, they ignore it (and us) and just continue on, like there is nothing wrong.

I will continue to fight, as long as I am able to.

Finally...

I call upon +Francis to vacate the Chair of St. Peter, for the sake of the Church and the Faithful.

I call upon each of you to take up this call.

Where did McCarrick get his $$$, if he had no bank accounts, investments, etc.

The Church Militant has asked the question regarding McCarrick:  If McCarrick was able to travel around the world, give out large amounts of money, where did he get the $$$, if he had no bank accounts, investments, etc.?

Listen to today's episode of Church Militant.  It will rock you!

McCarrick, +Wuerl, +Pell and the Vatican Financial Scandal

Could the reason Cardinal Pell of Australia be in jail at the moment due to Mr. McCarrick and Cardinal Wuerl?

You can decide for yourself over at Church Militant.   I bet you won't see this in the next edition of the Catholic Standard.

Remember, I ask each of you to call upon Pope Francis to vacate the Chair of St. Peter for the sake of the Church and the faithful.

A WILD AND CRAZY WEEK in the Roman Catholic World and I will STAND AND FIGHT.

This has been a wild and crazy week in the Roman Catholic world.  Why?

  • Amazonian Synod in Rome.  What about it?  Women Priests?  Women Deacon's?  Married Priests?  Pagan Rituals?  Ecological Sins.  And others...
  • Did the Pope state that Jesus was not divine, during his time on earth?
  • Death Penalty in America
  • The Vatican Bank Scandal
  • The Money Scam by Mr. McCarrick and Cardinal Wuerl
  • Cardinal Sarah says that if you oppose the Pope, you are outside of the Church
  • A NYC bishop has been removed due to sexual abuse
  • Dozen's of aborted babies in Ulrich Klopfer's car.
My head is about to explode with all of this stuff.

It can become depressing.

I was talking to Melvin about many of these issues and he said to me: "I really want to leave the Church.  These bishops are liars.  These priests are liars.  They really don't care of about us.  They live a sinful life, all the while using our charity, our goodness, to do it."

And how can you argue with this.  Melvin is correct.

After talking with this person a bit more, I said: "This is why I write my blog.  I will STAND AND FIGHT."  I know that I am just one person, and I cannot make much of a difference, but I know that I can live with myself."

I urge all of you to stay and to STAND AND FIGHT.

And, I call upon Pope Francis to vacate the Chair of St. Peter, for the sake of the Church and the Faithful.

The Pope's Reign of Error -- More from George Neumayr

It has been a few years since I was in Rome, but if what Mr. Neumayr says is true, the Eternal City, has started to become the infernal city.

Read it all in the American Spectator.

What a terrible way to start off a Sunday morning reading about this destruction of the Church.

Is Msgr. Rossi being protected by the Vatican?

The other day I saw a recent photo pop up on Twitter of Monsignor Walter Rossi standing next to a group of friends and allies — Donald Wuerl (the disgraced former archbishop of Washington, D.C.), Callista and Newt Gingrich, and Archbishop Christophe Pierre, the pope’s representative in the United States. The last figure interested me the most: Why would the pope’s man in Washington be lending his prestige to a cleric under investigation for corruption by the archdiocese of Washington, D.C., and the diocese of Scranton, Pennsylvania? Wouldn’t he want to steer clear of him?

How evil has intertwined itself into every aspect of the Roman Catholic Church is simply amazing.

American priest to Pope: I’m ‘wearied from being scorned and demonized by you’

A widely-recognized and respected American priest has responded to Pope Francis’ recent remarks on “young, rigid priests,” saying in a social media post addressed to the Pope that he must “honestly and painfully say that I am wearied from being scorned and demonized by you.”

I wonder if Msgr. Pope has been taken to the woodshed yet by Archbishop Gregory.  I expect that he will be soon, even though Msgr. Pope is correct.

To read the entire LifeSite article, click here.

I have said it before, and I will say it again: Pope Francis must vacate the Chair of St. Peter.   He has caused much damage to the church.

The Crisis in the Church only gets worse: Pope Francis Accused of Heresy

Prominent clergymen and scholars including Fr. Aidan Nichols, one of the best-known theologians in the English-speaking world, have issued an open letter accusing Pope Francis of committing heresy. They ask the bishops of the Catholic Church, to whom the open letter is addressed, to "take the steps necessary to deal with the grave situation" of a pope committing this crime.

The authors base their charge of heresy on the manifold manifestations of Pope Francis' embrace of positions contrary to the faith and his dubious support of prelates who in their lives have shown themselves to have a clear disrespect for the Church's faith and morals.

The Summit on Abuse -- What a Waste of Time and Money!

If you believe, that the Summit on Child Abuse was a success, can I sell you the Brooklyn Bridge?  I have the deed and will give it to you a really good price!

The most interesting thing that I have found, is that this entire Summit was caused by the scandal involving the Archdiocese of Washington's own Mr. McCarrick (formerly Cardinal).  Yet, there was almost no mention of him during the Summit.

There is so much that is so wrong about this Summit, but again, I will ask:

  • Where is Mr. McCarrick?
  • If he is at the monastery in Kansas, who is funding his room, board and medical?
  • Is the Archdiocese of Washington taking care of his costs?  If not, then who?

How much more damage will it take before Cardinal Wuerl is removed as Administrator?  How much more damage will Pope Francis inflict upon the Church, before he removes himself from the Chair of St. Peter?

McCarrick Dismissed from the Clerical State

As had been widely expected, the Vatican today announced it had removed Theodore Edgar McCarrick from the clerical state.

You can read the full story here.

Question:  Will McCarrick continue to live at the monastery?  Who will pay for his room and board?  Will it continue to be the Archdiocese of Washington?

Another Reason Why the Pope Must Resign!

December 18, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – Professor Marie-Jo Thiel, a new member of the revamped Pontifical Academy for Life, recently said that the Church's teaching on sexuality and family should be thoroughly reconsidered. She pointed to Pope Francis’s exhortation Amoris Laetitia as having given Catholics more freedom.
The Church’s teachings on sexuality have been a “complete failure,” she said. Thiel rejects the Church’s teaching that homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered and can never be approved. She also firmly rejects the Church’s ban on contraception.
Professor Thiel made her comments at an event at the Catholic Academy in Freiburg, Germany, according to Katholisch.de, the German bishops’ news website. She was speaking in her capacity as the President of the European Society of Catholic Theology. Thiel is a French medical doctor and theologian and currently teaches theology at the University of Strasbourg, France.

Looks Like Pope Francis is shutting out Cardinal Burke. The Dictator Pope Lives!

Is this happening in the Archdiocese of Washington?  It is okay for James Martin to speak but not Cardinal Burke.  This is a distinct possibility.

+++++++

The renowned canon lawyer referenced the recent report from veteran Vatican journalist Marco Tosatti that American bishops had been directed by the Vatican to not invite Cardinal Burke to their dioceses, and that if it’s not possible to prevent the cardinal from appearing in their jurisdiction, to not attend any event where he is present.

“If this report is true,” Peter said, “then understand: bishops working in close collaboration with the pope are instructing other bishops to avoid and, if necessary, to refuse manifestations of Christian unity due to a bishop who is, beyond any question, in full communion with him and them.”

This is why Pope Francis must step down from the Chair of Peter immediately!

The Final Synod Document -- A Roadmap for Schism or Let's Become Like the Anglicans

After reading the National Catholic Register commentary on the Synod by Fr. de Souza, I am more and more convinced that Pope Francis is leading us down the road of schism or if not schism, more like that of the Anglican Church.

Read it for yourself.

I am so disgusted.

Archdiocese Spends $$ on Wuerl Promotion

The Archdiocese of Washington (and by extension Pope Francis) does not get it.  From today's LifeSiteNews:

The Archdiocese of Washington purchased advertising on CNN’s website to promote Pope Francis’s complimentary regard for outgoing Cardinal Archbishop Donald Wuerl - paid for through its communications office, which gets financial support from Catholics in the pews.

The ad is flagged by CNN at the top with the message, “Paid Content,” and a disclaimer appears beneath the archdiocese’s own headline, resembling a sub-headline, stating, “Sponsored by the Catholic Standard.” The Standard is the newspaper for the Archdiocese of Washington.

This is why I have stated over the years, and I have put my money where my mouth is: Do Not Give to the Cardinal's Appeal!

For the complete story, go to LifeSiteNews.
