Congratulations are in order for Avalon (Boys) and Brookewood (Girls) Schools in MoCo, MD. On July 1, 2010, they will become the first independent schools in almost twenty-five years to be recognized as a Catholic school.

It would be nice to hear a follow up on some of the schools that have been identified as being troubled in earlier blog posts. Haven't hear about St. Catherines or St. Judes lately.
It was announced a while back that both will be open for the 2010-2011 year.
