On Thursday, November 13, at St. James Catholic Church, the Institute of Catholic Culture presents His Excellency, Bishop Nicolas J. Samra, who was appointed by Pope Benedict XVI to the position of Bishop of Newton, Massachusetts in June, 2011.
Bishop Nicholas Samra will discuss how God created man in his own image and bestowed upon him the gift of dominion over all creation. However, Adam and Eve, our first parents, were deceived by the Devil in the guise of a serpent, and forsook their relationship with their Creator, thus entering into slavery to sin. Mankind suffered under the domination of the Demons until the Incarnation of the Word of God—Jesus—overthrew Satan’s powers and delivered man into the loving hand of his Creator.
Join Bishop Samra and the Institute of Catholic Culture at 7:30 p.m. for this event focusing on the delivery of mankind from the snares of the Devil. The location is St. James Catholic Church, 905 Park Ave., Falls Church, Va. All are welcome. No reservations required. Free admission. For more information, please visit www.InstituteofCatholicCulture.org or call 540-635-7155.
