Catholic Schools Week - Celebrate It!

I am proud to say that I am a graduate of a Catholic elementary school, secondary school and university.

I am also proud to say that I am an active supporter of the local Catholic elementary school.

Catholic schools not only educate students of all races and religions, but are a visible sign of our faith, not only by teaching it, but through the various fundraisers and activities, which pump millions of dollars and volunteer hours back into the community each and every year.

Catholic schools save the federal, state and local governments millions of dollars each year, but to paraphrase Rodney Dangerfield "They get no respect."

So, if you are not a supporter of Catholic schools (use your time and talent) become one, especially if there is a school attached to your parish.
