From Today's Washington comPost...

The Washington Post has two articles about gay student groups. One is at Catholic University of America and the other at Georgetown University.

I applaud CUA for trying to hold firm. Georgetown, in my humble opinion, is a lost cause and our Archbishop only seems to enable this.

Thanks to The Deacon's Bench for pointing this out.

The CUAllies were reported on in the CUA Tower all this past Fall. But, their online edition has been unaccessible for most of the semester.
This group is utterly dishonest. It started saying it wanted to abide by Church teaching and was just looking to prevent crimes against those suffering homosexual attraction. But, slowly it had shown its insidious agenda to attack Caholic teaching. It even sent members to the recent gay pride march in DC.
CUA must sue the group to not allow them to use the name.

Hey - I published an article on that incident last Saturday, and I was just wondering if you would agree on the comment that I made to "mike", who said that CUAllies advocates all equality, not just LGBTQ equality.

Because how could anyone be in a LGBTQ ally group without being for gay rights? Indeed, on Wikipedia, it says it is antithetical to have such a group without supporting gay rights! So, CUA was right to not approve them. Indeed, if you want to establish a group for GLBT's, go to Courage International -- they're more faithful to the Vatican than this group!

That's what I say!
