Thank you Fr. O'Neill Council #4011
Even in the midst of the terrible events in the Church, there are many who continue to work to bring Christ's message of Hope and Charity to others.
The Fr. O'Neill Council, in Luthersville, MD, hosted the 10th Annual Jessica Meredith Jacobsen 5K Memorial Walk/Run. Over the last 10 years, it has raised over 120,000 with funds primarily supporting the House of Ruth, a domestic violence shelter, and Immaculate Conception School.
Jessica Meredeth Jacobsen was a mother who left behind two children, when she died due to domestic violence.

Looks Like Pope Francis is shutting out Cardinal Burke. The Dictator Pope Lives!
Is this happening in the Archdiocese of Washington? It is okay for James Martin to speak but not Cardinal Burke. This is a distinct possibility.

The renowned canon lawyer referenced the recent report from veteran Vatican journalist Marco Tosatti that American bishops had been directed by the Vatican to not invite Cardinal Burke to their dioceses, and that if it’s not possible to prevent the cardinal from appearing in their jurisdiction, to not attend any event where he is present.
“If this report is true,” Peter said, “then understand: bishops working in close collaboration with the pope are instructing other bishops to avoid and, if necessary, to refuse manifestations of Christian unity due to a bishop who is, beyond any question, in full communion with him and them.”

This is why Pope Francis must step down from the Chair of Peter immediately!

Is Catholic Clergy Sex Abuse Related to Homosexual Priests?
On Nov. 2, the Ruth Institute published a new report that dares to ask a question many researchers — and Catholics — have been afraid to ask: What has been the role of active homosexuality and homosexual subcultures in the priesthood and in seminaries on the sex-abuse crisis?
The report — which indicates a very strong correlation between homosexual priests and homosexual subcultures and the incidence of clergy sexual abuse — is in part a response to the two important studies commissioned by the U.S. Bishops in the face of the sex-abuse crisis that were conducted by the John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
Now, to be honest or as they use to say in IBM many years ago, "Open Kimono," I have not read the report, but just the article. However, if our bishops and Catholic laity continue to put their heads in the sand about this, it will only continue to erode the confidence in the and respect for the Church.

The Final Synod Document -- A Roadmap for Schism or Let's Become Like the Anglicans
After reading the National Catholic Register commentary on the Synod by Fr. de Souza, I am more and more convinced that Pope Francis is leading us down the road of schism or if not schism, more like that of the Anglican Church.
Read it for yourself.
I am so disgusted.
