U.S. bishop: If ‘conscience’ alone determines access to Communion, why not Holy Orders too?

I have been distracted recently with some personal business and seemed to have missed the documentation issued by Cardinal Wuerl on new pastoral plan on Amoris Laetitia.    I was clued into this by Restore DC Catholocism. 

LifeSite News has a scathing evaluation of this and shows that the Cardinal is leading us (the Church) down that slippery path of schism and destruction.

FOR SHAME GEORGETOWN, FOR SHAME!!!

WASHINGTON, D.C., February 28, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – Tonight, Georgetown University will present pro-abortion Senator Dick Durbin, D-IL, whose bishop recently barred him from Holy Communion, with an award for devoting “his life to the core Jesuit value of service to others.”

Georgetown President John J. DeGioia will present Durbin with the Jesuit university’s “Timothy S. Healy, S.J. Award for exemplary public service.”

This award is “conferred upon Georgetown alumni who have rendered outstanding and exemplary service to his/her profession or community in support of humanitarian causes,” according to the University.
