Msgr. Rossi: Protected by the Lavender Mafia and the Real Mafia

Wow!

George Neumayr hits another one out of the ballpark.  He shows how Msgr. Rossi is not only protected by the Lavender Mafia but also by the real one, via his father's legacy.

Having a connection to the mafia will not get rid of him, as some really old timers may remember Fr. Giganti in NYC.  Fr. Giganti's brother was a very well known mobster.

All I can say is that George needs to be extra vigilant over the next few weeks/months.

Let's keep George in your prayers and keep spreading the word about him and his work.

Marriage Tribunal in Archdiocese of Washington

Given the scandal at the Diocese of Wilmington, regarding the Marriage Tribunal, I decided to take a look to see who working on the Tribunal in the Archdiocese of Washington.

Lo and behold, guess what I found -- NOTHING.

The names of those who run the tribunal are no longer listed.

A few years ago, the names were listed and I know that Fr. Mark Tucker (stationed at Holy Redeemer, Kensington) is still working there.

Why are the names no longer listed?

Is it because they are worried about undo influence by those who go before it?

Are they worried about getting caught up in some sort of scandal?

Have you noticed that you find fewer contact names on their website and more "service accounts"?  (A service account is simply an email address you write to.  One or two employees are usually assigned to monitor the account.)

Cokie Roberts' Mass at St. Matthew's - Some Observations

No, I did not go to the Funeral Mass for Cokie Roberts.  Did not know when it was to take place and not certain, if I knew, that I would have the time.

However, after watching it on YouTube, I do have some observations:

  • Did you notice that the great catholyc theologian, Rep. Nancy Pelosi, was allowed to give a eulogy?  Why?
  • Did you notice that the cameras covered the entire altar during the entire Mass, except for one part?  Did you notice what part it was?  If you guessed Holy Communion, then you were right.  Makes me wonder that they do not cover it, as it will show how all sorts of pro-abortion, pro-homosexual receiving Holy Communion, and causing greater scandal.
  • Did you notice, that there was no body.  It was just a funeral urn of her ashes.  I had to do some research, but this is allowed.
  •  Archbishop Wilton Gregory presided.  Guess he did not have much else to do, other than rooting out the lavender mafia.

Is Msgr. Rossi being protected by the Vatican?

The other day I saw a recent photo pop up on Twitter of Monsignor Walter Rossi standing next to a group of friends and allies — Donald Wuerl (the disgraced former archbishop of Washington, D.C.), Callista and Newt Gingrich, and Archbishop Christophe Pierre, the pope’s representative in the United States. The last figure interested me the most: Why would the pope’s man in Washington be lending his prestige to a cleric under investigation for corruption by the archdiocese of Washington, D.C., and the diocese of Scranton, Pennsylvania? Wouldn’t he want to steer clear of him?

How evil has intertwined itself into every aspect of the Roman Catholic Church is simply amazing.

CNA and Wash comPost have Msgr. Rossi Story

Wow!

The Catholic News Agency and the Washington comPost have just announced that Msgr. Rossi has taken a leave of absence from CUA and they even mention his investigation by the Diocese of Scranton and Archdiocese of Washington.

What took them so long!

And not one word of thanks or credit to George Neumayr.

Catholic Standard Update - Still No Mention of the Msgr. Rossi Investigation (Sept. 19, 2019)

The Catholic Standard has just released their latest edition (09/19/19) and just as I expected, there is no mention of the Msgr. Rossi investigation.

Now, for those who don't know it, the Catholic Standard is the official newspaper of the Archdiocese of Washington.

This is the third edition of the paper, not to make any mention of the investigation.  At least this time, the advertisement on the Basilica does not mention his name.

Remember, the only way we are going to rid the Church of this rot is by keeping the pressure on, each in our own small way.   Do not give up!

Cokie Roberts

There has been a great deal written about Cokie Robert's, who passed away recently.  In particular, about her Catholicism.  I don't know her, never met her.

However, none of the reports talk about what she thought of Catholic teaching:

Cokie Roberts, political commentator for ABC News and National Public Radio, has publicly attacked Pope Benedict XVI as "really lacking in the theological virtue of charity," "an extremely controversial choice" and "the most conservative voice of Catholicism."  In her syndicated column with husband Steve Roberts, she has espoused abortion rights and ridiculed pro-lifers as "extremists."  The Robertses characterized the federal ban on partial-birth abortion as "off the track" and "cynical games-playing" by pro-life activists.  They have argued that the authority of the Catholic bishops has been significantly weakened, in part because of their teaching on homosexuality and contraception: "It’s as if they are asking to be ignored."

The National Shrine's Non-Stop Fundraising via Email

As you may remember, I wrote to the general email account of the Shrine three times, asking about Msgr. Rossi.  Of course, they did not reply, but they did put me on their mailing list.

Since September 1, 2019, I have received twelve (12), yes twelve (12) emails from them.  Most of them were asking me to purchase a calendar, devotional candle, or other product.  When they did not ask me to purchase something, they made certain to ask for a donation to continue to support the Shrine.

I do not know if this is normal or not, and some of you out there can tell me, but they must really be hurting for $$$.

Who knows, they may take me off their mailing list or they may increase the number of mailings.
