My friend (Thank you Melvin) received a request to support the San Miguel School Annual Scholarship Benefit on June 19th at the Congressional Country Club. Now, it is a good school with a a great mission.
When he opened it up, he comes to find that Councilmember Muriel Bowser (DC) is one of the Honorary Chairs, with Msgr. Enzler and the Honorable Maria Otero.
Now, what is a pro-abortion and pro-gay marriage politician doing on as an Honorary Chair of a religious school fundraiser? Does the San Miguel administration know this? (It only took me a couple of "google" searches to find this information.) Do they care?
Once again, we have another example of how we as Catholics are selling out our own values/beliefs for a couple of dollars.

From their website http://www.sanmigueldc.org/#!annual-scholarship-benefit-2014/ccjy we see talk of "breaking the cycle of poverty". That is Alinskyian language right there. Ensler sure seems to strike up some squalid alliances.
