U.S. bishop: If ‘conscience’ alone determines access to Communion, why not Holy Orders too?

I have been distracted recently with some personal business and seemed to have missed the documentation issued by Cardinal Wuerl on new pastoral plan on Amoris Laetitia.    I was clued into this by Restore DC Catholocism.

LifeSite News has a scathing evaluation of this and shows that the Cardinal is leading us (the Church) down that slippery path of schism and destruction.

Are we seeing the start of a Schism?

Over the last six to eight months, I have become more and more concerned with the path Pope Francis is taking.  Although every once in a while, he surprises me on how he takes a very conservative stand on a particular issue, most of the time the surprise is to simply leave me shaking my head in disbelief.

Recently, I have started to see a series of articles which show that Pope Francis does not want to set clear the record on amoris laetitia, and is lashing out at his critics.  In addition, I am seeing more and more articles, quoting his supporters, trashing those who may ask for clarification or simply stating that we are changing long held beliefs and practices and the Pontiff approves of them.

Is it me, or am I starting to see the start of a schism?

Amoris Laetitia (“The Joy of Love”) - Sowing Confusion Rather than Full Clarity

In some areas, it is strong and clear.  In others, it is clouded, will cause confusion and allow, in many instances, the right of one's conscience over the teachings of the Church.

Amoris Laetitia hopes to resolve the situations of many in the modern world, but is far more likely only to add further fuel to the holocaust. It doesn’t take a crystal ball to predict that once Communion can be taken by the divorced/remarried in some circumstances, it will soon be assumed licit by all. And – why not? – by people in gay relationships, who probably have an equally good claim to mitigating circumstances.
