Is a red hat in order?

With the appointment of Archbishop Wuerl to deal with Anglicans in the US who wish to join the Church, my hunch is that he will be made a Cardinal.

The question will then become, how much longer will he remain in Washington? Will he move on to other places -- possibly to Rome. My buddy Melvin believes that in a year or so, he will move on to a position in Rome.

Just a hunch.

Please, please, please let your hunch be true. If the price for getting rid of him is a red hat, please give him ten red hats!

That's right. Please give him ten red hats, bring bishop Martino out of retirement and send him here.

It's unlikely he'll move. There are already 2 at least Americans in Rome (Levada and Burke). DC is stuck with Wuerl.
I imagine this new job is to give Rome a reason to make the nation's capital's bishop a cardinal. He certainly does not deserve otherwise.

According to Capitol Catholic Biden was at Wuerl's Mass this Sunday and received Holy Communion.

I do agree with all the ideas you have presented for your post.
They are really convincing and will definitely work. Still, the posts are too short for beginners.
May just you please prolong them a bit from next time?
Thank you for the post.
