An antiabortion group that mounted a six-month undercover investigation has released videos this week that raise questions about what might happen to a baby as a result of an unsuccessful abortion.
One video features a D.C. doctor, Cesare Santangelo, who said that in the unlikely event that an abortion resulted in a live birth, “we would not help it.” Santangelo was answering repeated questions from an undercover operative about what would happen, hypothetically, if she gave birth after an unsuccessful abortion.
I mean, technically, you know, legally, we would be obligated to help it, you know, to survive, but . . . it probably wouldn’t,” Santangelo is shown telling the woman, who was 24 weeks pregnant. “It’s all in how vigorously you do things to help a fetus survive at this point.”
Live Action president Lila Rose said the group’s videos expose “truly gruesome, illegal and inhuman practices.” She defended the tactics, saying undercover investigations are a powerful method to expose abuses.

New regulations issued by the Department of Health and Mental Hygene (DHMH) announced that they will insitute regulations on abortion clinics. Clinic inspections will take place (hopefully).
Abortion clinics will be given a 120-day grace period to apply for licenses
under the new regulations, which officially go into effect July 23. The licenses
cost $1,500 for three years.
The new regulations are modeled after those followed by outpatient surgical
facilities and require abortion clinics to meet guidelines related to
anesthesia, emergency services, lab work and other areas.
Of course, the Planned Parenthood/NARAL cabal fought it tooth and nail (cuts into those profits, you know) even though they were supposedly all for safe abortions. (Remember the clinic in Elkton, MD?)
Although this may not reduce the number of abortions, it will ensure that murder clinics abortion clinics have to meet the same guidelines as other outpatient medical facilities.

It seems that on Wednesday, Oct. 5th, Kathleen Sebelius (the HHS Secretary) attended and spoke at a fundraiser for NARAL in Chicago. Not only does she do whatever she can in her position to destroy the Church's moral teachings, now she is raising money for those who oppose her. When will any member of our clergy have the intestinal fortitude to say "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. You can no longer present yourself for Holy Communion." In fact, when will she be Excommunicated.
From the
Wall Street Journal:
You are the Democratic candidate for president. You want to reach out to Catholics. So what do you do when the majority of the elected officials on your National Catholic Advisory Council have the seal of approval from NARAL Pro-Choice America? That's the position Barack Obama now finds himself in.A few months ago, his Catholic advisory council was announced with great enthusiasm, and Sen. Bob Casey (D., Pa.) was listed as a national co-chair. His appearance at the top of the council sent a clear message: This campaign is determined to recover some of the lost Democratic sheep who have gravitated to the GOP over abortion. This council does indeed include some Catholics whose pro-life credentials are impeccable, including Minnesota Congressman James Oberstar. But let us also stipulate the obvious: Of the 21 senators, congressmen and governors listed on the council's National Leadership Committee, 17 have a 90%-100% NARAL approval rating. Even Mr. Casey now enjoys a 65% NARAL approval rating. It's not as if these NARAL scores are outliers: Sen. Obama himself boasts a 100% NARAL rating, and for good reason. In a speech before Planned Parenthood, he declared that the right to an abortion is at stake in this election, and vowed that he would not yield on appointing judges that would uphold Roe v. Wade.Mr. Obama is for using tax dollars to fund abortions, and against restrictions on partial-birth abortion. In the Illinois Senate, he voted against legislation protecting a child who was born alive despite an abortion. In sum, if you want to know what Mr. Obama's policies mean, it's this: taxpayer-funded abortion on demand. So, for all of you "Catholics" in the Archdiocese of Washington DC who support Obama, are you proud of yourselves? Will you continue to support him? Unfortunately, some of you will.
